(More customer reviews)If you have ever tried to use cheap "pillow speakers" or have angled stereo speakers at your head trying to get a headphone-less headphone experience then this pillow is probably an ideal thing for you. It really is like headphones, without headphones, there is enough separation for the binaural beat effect to occur.

I use the Sleepsonic pillow primarily with the Win/Mac application called Pzizz but I also use it with content from Hemi-Sync. For the person trying to maximize human potential while reducing stress or both of those while coping with sleep depravation then you would do well to give this pillow a try.

I personally find that a headphone amp adds a little extra fullness to the sound. It's not required but it does help a bit.

My pillows are about six months old and are holding up wonderfully, it is the kind of quality that you can look at and say "Looks like I got the best one!"

I like it so much I bought two, at various times I have contacted the company for usage suggestions and I have never had such a great interaction from any company ever, they are wonderful people and they have a great product.
