(More customer reviews)I have found this to be the most comfortable mask out there.The main competitor to this mask are the various resmed mirage masks:Micro, Activa, and the plain regular.I found the gel mask is much softer on the face than the silicone cushions used in the mirage series.

My only complaint is that the mask does not have a very long life.After about 3 months, the gel starts to get mushy and you get more air leaks -- causing you to wake up frequently and have to readjust the mask.

In terms of price -- this is definitely a pretty good value relative to a lot of other types of masks.If you can afford it, I would highly recommend having an emergency backup mask.(this goes for any brand)The plastic on all masks tend to be brittle and snap easily.And of course -- when it breaks -- it tends to be as you are putting your mask on to go to sleep.This is not the type of thing that you can run out and buy in the middle of the night.

If you can't afford to have a new mask waiting in reserve, keep one of your retired masks handy so that you can at least get through the night.
